The Committee to Elect Allan Kittleman announced it raised $118,231.42 during the most recent reporting period ending May 15th, 2018. In all, 237 donations were received, giving the Committee a total of $822,692.44 in the bank after expenditures, according to reports to be filed today with the Maryland State Board of Elections.
“I am really pleased by the amount of support my campaign has received thus far in 2018. It shows people are excited about the future and the work my Administration is doing on behalf of Howard County.”
In 2018, the Kittleman campaign hit the ground running, most notably by airing an early round of television commercials in April and canvassing neighborhoods on weekends.
“I thought it was important to kick things off on TV by doing what I’ve always done – staying positive and focusing on how we do things differently than they do in Washington, D.C. We’re building new schools in Jessup, Ellicott City, and Elkridge, we’re keeping taxes in check, and we’re engaging residents on important issues facing our communities.”
In January, the campaign noted how its previous investments enabled a very lean and efficient operation in 2018. Now, as other campaigns are spending down resources just to get started, the Kittleman campaign is aggressively investing in voter contacts at a rate that matches fundraising.
“When you look at the progress his campaign has made thus far in 2018, and account for the amount of support he has in the community, I think most people would agree Allan Kittleman is very well positioned heading into this election.” said campaign manager, Sean Murphy.
“Of course, none of this would be possible without the generous support shown to my campaign. The 237 donations we received during this reporting period is a clear indication that our grassroots support is strong in 2018,” said Allan Kittleman. “Election Day will be here before you know it. I’m proud of the work my Administration has done thus far, and I am even more excited for what we have in store for the future.
